You already know what to do. Knowing was never the problem.
For anyone who has spent years being called lazy, scattered, sensitive, or so bright if she would only apply herself. You are none of those things. You are running a brain nobody handed you the instructions for.
Built around how ADHD shows up in women, because that is the version that gets missed for decades. Every adult who recognises themselves on this page is welcome here.
Every price is published on this site. You will never have to sit through a sales call to find out what something costs.
Completely fair. Here is the shortest route to the thing you came for.
Before anything else, I want you to feel accurately described.
Every line on this list describes a nervous system, not a personality. Read them, then read the paragraph underneath.
- You were the girl with the good grades and the catastrophic bedroom, so nobody thought to look.
- The task takes eleven minutes. You have known about it for nine days.
- You bought the planner. You colour coded it. It worked beautifully for six days.
- You can run a household, a team, or an entire business, and you cannot make yourself open one envelope.
- You have been called sensitive, dramatic and too much, usually by people who never once asked why.
- You clean the whole kitchen to avoid one email, then feel guilty about the clean kitchen.
- You are tired in a way sleep does not touch, because holding it all together is a full time job that nobody pays you for.
- There are stretches of the month where every single thing is harder, and nobody ever told you that was a real thing.
- You are the one everyone calls brilliant and nobody calls reliable, and lately you have started to believe the second one.
- Someone has told you to try harder. You have been trying harder your entire life. That is the part nobody sees.
None of that is a character defect. Every line above describes an interest based nervous system being run on a motivation architecture it does not have. Most brains can start a task because it matters, or because it is due. ADHD brains reliably start on interest, novelty, challenge and urgency, and very little else. So the advice that works for everyone around you genuinely does not work for you, and you have spent years concluding that the problem must therefore be you.
It is not. The instructions were written for a different machine.
Women are diagnosed with ADHD about five years later than men, at an average age of 29 against 24, even though symptoms show up at the same age in both. Girls tend to present as inattentive and quiet rather than disruptive, so they get missed. If you found out late, nothing was wrong with you. The system was looking for a different child. There is a very specific gap in this field, and I happen to sit in it.
Most ADHD coaches have never studied a nervous system. Most clinicians who have, have never had to run a business on this one.
I am a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine with ten years of clinical practice, a psychology degree from UC Berkeley, and combined type ADHD at the 97th percentile for severity. Inattentive and hyperactive. Both engines, full volume, all the time.
Four ways in. Every price is on the page.
Want someone in your corner every week? One to One. Want to stop doing this alone? Kindred. Want the whole framework at your own pace? Start to Finish. Want to test the water first? Book a single session. Not sure? Take the free call and I will tell you honestly, including if the answer is none of them.
One call. Twenty minutes. Nothing is sold on it.
Tell me roughly what is going on. I will tell you whether I can help, which option fits, or that you need something I do not offer.
